Cooper’s Nose Is Under The Tent

I know I wrote about the “Science” of Covid recently, but I must talk about it one more time. We are well into our second year of an “Emergency.” Emergencies don’t last two years. Our Governor seems to think it should go on forever.

This power grab has shown us how dangerous “emergency orders” can be and that literally they can last forever. We have tried to change that law but keep getting hit with a veto from Governor Cooper. No Democrat is brave enough to cross him and vote for override.

Some politicians were never as afraid of Covid as they wanted us to be. The stories of hypocrisy are endless.

Governor Cooper, after shutting down businesses, schools, and churches, appeared maskless with a group of liberal protesters. He ordered everyone else to wear masks and gather with 10 people or less.

Gavin Newsome, mayor of Los Angeles, has been caught with his mask down several times. In the height of the shutdown, he attended a birthday party with dozens of guests, all maskless. Mayors of Denver and Austin, Governors of Illinois and Michigan, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and AOC have all disobeyed orders to isolate and mask up. At the same time, these same people are lecturing the rest of us about the “science.” This list could go on and on, but you get the picture. Note that these hypocrites are liberal Democrat politicians. Elected officials should practice what they preach. This appears to be the usual “rules for thee but not for me.”

Last week I told you about the plight of many doctors who have been threatened because of treating patients without following the protocol, “prescribed from on high.” That situation is ongoing, and I am working with them to find solutions.

Another story you may have heard about is the North Carolina man who was denied a kidney transplant, at a local hospital, because he refused to be vaccinated. A story featured in Epoch Times told the story of Chad Carswell. Chad is an army veteran, from North Carolina, who fought during the middle east wars. He is only 39 years old and desperately needs a kidney transplant. He was on the transplant list when Atrium Wake Forest Baptist told him, “Take the vaccine, or you’re going to die.” His response was, “then I’ll die as a free man.”

When Chad went public about his plight on social media, he was viciously attacked by many who thought he should die. This is an incredible realization for me. That people would wish someone dead because they refuse to take a vaccine. He did garner many supporters though and compassionate loving people are being tested as a match for a kidney donation for Chad. Medical City Fort Worth Transplant Institute has agreed to add Chad to their transplant list, and he is awaiting a suitable donor.

Many other hospitals around the country, are following this same procedural process, Vaccinate or No Transplant. They all cite following protocol advice from American Society of Transplantation and The United Network of Organ sharing, the national transplant organizations. A search of the websites of these organizations shows a list of impressive partners. Among them are vaccine manufacturer Sanofi. Sanofi just happens to partner with Johnson and Johnson and Pfizer to produce the Covid 19 vaccine. Other corporate sponsors and its affiliate partners include Merck, Novartis and Astra Zeneca. Do you see a pattern here? Follow the money. I’m certain that plays no part here.

I heard a dialysis nurse talk about the way it used to be. She said that a few years ago it was a crime to deny life saving treatment to anyone. Her words were, “Everybody got dialyzed, no matter what. Even if it was somebody who is a hundred years old, in ICU, comatose and if they were going to die in 24 hours. Even if they were brain dead, we dialyzed them.” Things have certainly changed.

Whatever happened to The Hippocratic Oath, First Do No Harm. Denying someone life saving treatment is absolutely Doing Harm. What has happened to us as a society?

I understand that organs are limited and there’s a process for determining who receives this life saving treatment. I also understand that some believe completely in the vaccinations and others are just as convinced that it’s dangerous. I have been vaccinated, by choice. I’m just as willing for others to make a different choice. I am not willing to sit by and watch our society turn into a place where we choose who receives treatment and who doesn’t.

What about people addicted to drugs? Should we deny treatments because they are at high risk? That’s a slippery slope. You’ve heard about the camels’ nose under the tent.

Covid has caused a lot of pain and death. Families have suffered tremendously, and many will continue to suffer from the loss of loved ones. It has opened our eyes to things we never thought we would see. Health facilities and some medical providers refusing to care for patients who are unvaccinated is something we could never have imagined. I pray this path doesn’t continue.
