Kernersville— Senator Joyce Krawiec announced today that Joel Ford (D-Mecklenburg) has endorsed her re-election campaign for State Senate District 31.
“Joyce Krawiec and I were members of different parties. But we were united by our shared faith and passion for service. I strongly endorse Joyce Krawiec for Senate,” Ford said.
Joyce and Ford worked together on many bipartisan bills in the North Carolina Senate. Both Senators sponsored a Voter ID bill to protect election security. They also worked together on school choice legislation.
Joel Ford served three terms in the North Carolina Senate from 2013 to 2018. He also once served as Chairman of the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party.
Joyce Krawiec is a conservative activist, former North Carolina Republican Party Vice-Chair, and retiring North Carolina Senator. Christian, wife, mother, small business owner, and conservative. She has endorsed Dana Caudill-Jones for North Carolina Senate.
