KERNERSVILLE – Retired State Senator Joyce Krawiec (District 31) proudly endorses Derrick Hinson for Winston-Salem/ Forsyth County School Board.
Krawiec noted that after years of mismanagement – including a scathing audit involving $75 million in raises for staff – she thought that fresh energy was needed on the School Board.
“The current School Board mis-spent half a billion dollars – with a B – for years. This just cannot go on,” she said. “Our kids deserve much better.”
Krawiec retired from the North Carolina Senate in 2024 after almost a decade in the legislature. Before serving in Raleigh, she served as Vice-Chair of the North Carolina Republican Party. She is a lifelong Christian, conservative activist.
